One of the many things yoga teaches us is that when we connect to our bodies, we can discover resources for grounding, calm, and personal integration.

Coming Home to Your Body: Yoga for Connection and Healing

A simple flow with sensory cues to bridge the mind and body. I’ll offer multiple options throughout to support you in exploring what feels best for you. This practice is less about doing poses “right” and more about engaging with your own experience with curiosity and care.

STARTING IN JULY Fridays from 10:30 - 11:45am at Empowered Spaces

Style

I structure movement classes around yogic, mindfulness, and mental health theories, depending on the needs of my students. For example, a practice designed to soothe anxiety would focus on techniques to settle the nervous system, while a class for depression would aim to energize the body. A traditional trauma-informed class would emphasize noticing sensation over perfecting alignment, whereas a lesson to address chronic pain might zoom in on alignment to support efficiency and ease of movement. Regardless of the approach, my main goal is to create a space where you can listen to your body, breathe, and be kind to yourself.
