One of the many things yoga teaches us is that when we connect to our bodies, we can discover resources for grounding, calm, and personal integration.

Class Schedule

Fridays, 10:30-11:45am at Empowered Spaces

Coming Home to Your Body - A gentle, trauma-informed flow with sensory cues to bridge mind and body.

Special Series: Empowered Flow 9/5 - 10/3. Sun salutations are among the most common sequences in a yoga class. Yet, we rarely get the chance to slow down and understand these movements to absorb their benefits fully. Over four classes, we’ll break down the elemental postures of a sun salutation and explore plenty of options within each shape. This will give you the basics you need to step into a general flow or vinyasa class and make adaptations that support your body.

  • 9/5 - Down Dog

  • 9/12 - Chaturanga

  • 9/19 - No class

  • 9/26 - Warriors

  • 10/3 - Full Flow

BREAK: No class 10/17 or 10/24

Special Series: Evolutionary Namaskar 10/24 - 11/14. Evolutionary Namaskar is a movement sequence from the Circle Yoga Shala inspired by the way babies learn to move—from sensing their environment, to reaching, rolling, crawling, and ultimately walking. Get back to the basics of movement and rewire your system for greater ease and efficiency.

  • 10/24 - Reaching and Rolling

  • 10/31 - Creeping and Crawling

  • 11/7 - Squatting

  • 11/14 - Coming to standing

Join as a drop-in or enroll in the full series by signing up for each class individually and following the instructions in your confirmation email to complete enrollment.

Curious about one-on-one yoga support? Reach out to learn more or schedule a session.

I structure individual sessions around yogic, mindfulness, and mental health theories, depending on the needs of my students. For example, a practice designed to soothe anxiety would focus on techniques to settle the nervous system, while a practice for depression would aim to energize the body. A traditional trauma-informed class would emphasize noticing sensation over perfecting alignment, whereas a lesson to address chronic pain might zoom in on alignment to support efficiency and ease of movement. Regardless of the approach, my main goal is to create a space where you can listen to your body, breathe, and be kind to yourself.
